The place could do with some healthier eating options, but I suppose it's catering to kids. We stayed in a traditional suite with two queen beds and a pullout couch. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Honestly, after reading some reviews I was expecting this to be a nightmare stay, but it was a positive experience. I don't know how people work there for days/week's on end, but they must have stronger lungs than I! I know excessive chlorine is just a necessary evil for a shared pool like this. The chlorine in the enclosed waterpark was quite tough for me to handle after a few hours. I've never seen life guards so alert as this. All of the life guards were well-trained and the hotel had ample coverage. They were constantly scanning back and forth over their section, pacing the deck, checking every head, and completely thorough. There were never any less than 6 lifeguards for the lazy river alone, and often more. The waterpark was crowded (doesn't show in my photos because these are from early in the morning). We stayed here for two days over the president's day week break - so we paid the maximum amount and the hotel was completely full. I've been to other theme hotels during Covid that suffered from understaffing (specifically a universal Orlando hotel) where our experience was horrendous.
